Mumbai Arts & Crafts Center
Final year studio hypothetical project.
The Love grove Complex, completed in 1842,served as a sewage pumping station for the city of Mumbai. With structures dating 150 years back, they are now outdated to shelter the same function, as they were constructed for. These buildings are adapted by the government to build an arts and crafts center. The center has an exhibition with a store. The other building serves as a workshop for the artisans coming from different parts of Maharastra.
